No matter what they are, these are motivated by the desire to gain traffic. Backlinks may come from forums which have a link to your webpage or virtual real estate on the World Wide Web. They easily allow a direct link to your site or page, they are also found by the search engines; search engines like technorati and bing which provide a listing of sites found on its database that meet the phrases for the queries. What's good about obtaining inlinks? A great deal.
Direct link Direct link Linking tactics Linking styles A great deal Stragegies Resource Command Players The Net Found directly Looking for Another search

With a large database at their command, the search engines are the obvious places to query when in need of a particular resource on the internet. Queries are performed with words, which focus the search to the result desired. Needing to know about "pet care"? Search MSN, now known as Bing or your favorite search resource. While being found directly through a direct link is desirable, its probability of happening is kind of limited which brings us to the big players of the Web, the search engines like Google and many others. To sum it up, you need backlinks in order to prove to the search engines of your importance as a resource for a particular keyword. There are many methods of obtaining links and some people swear by one-way linking. Whatever the preference, a combination of different techniques might be yield better results. End - Link Tactics.

Click here for alternative medicine and healing

So Serious

Everything seemed to be so serious. Concentration is nothing more than to focus one's mind on a single point, a single idea or a sound. Yogis use sound as the focus of their efforts and this sound is called mantra. Mantra comes from two words man=mind and tra=liberation. Mantra therefore is defined as that which liberates the mind. The yogi who wishes to gain control over his mind repeats the mantra in his mind over and over again and keeps his consciousness focused on that sound. This is how he gains control of his mind. It is not an easy process but if he perseveres he will attain a degree of control over his mind which he then uses to raise his consciousness to a higher level.

deja vu, each, eager, ear, earache, eardrum, earhart, earl, earlobe, early, earmark, earn, earnest, earnings, earphone, earring, earshot, earth, earthen, earthenware, earthling, earthmover, earthquake, earthshaking, earthworm, ease, easel, east, easter, eastern, easy, eat, eatery, eau, eaves, eavesdrop, ebb, ebony, ebook, ebullience, eccentric, ecclesiastical, echelon, echo, eclair, email

Anyway, here's Cagayan de Oro City It does not stay with the body for very long and later makes its departure leaving the body without any semblance of the life that used to animate it. Sleep therefore is a very powerful force that might be related to the greater or more efficient working of the living being. If we consider the fact that people sleep around eight hours a day we get a sense of its importance. The notion of rest and repair is easily arrived at. We can immediately draw conclusions regarding this aspect of sleep. But, what about that ever-present companion of sleep which is dreaming?

ballet, banking, basketball, baskets, beatles, bipolar-disorder, blogging, bolivia, boracay, buddhism, building, bukidnon, bulldogs, burma, business-finance, business-jets, butterfly, cagayandeoro, camera-phone, cancer-treatment, cars-trucks,cats, cebucity, celebration, cell-phones, censorship, cherry, china, chingsweb, chocolate, cholera, christ, christianity, coffee, communication, computer-programming, condos, cooperatives, cosmetic-surgery, country-music, credit-cards,

From what is known about dreaming, it would appear that the brain never sleeps even when the whole body is sleeping. The brain never shuts down. It is as if when the conscious mind is not busy manufacturing thoughts, it turns over control to the subconscious which starts churning out dreams.

Come into these sites: Squeak Smalltalk Adventure, The Ordinary Life, Politics: Divine Right of Kings and Presidents, Creation, Life, Consciousness.

Fear is a powerful force and so is eating and sex but when the stomach is full and after sexual activity, sleep naturally takes over. In very intensely fearful situations, a creature might faint or curl up in a ball or pretend to be inert and uninteresting until the danger devours it or turns away. In either case, sleep is the final outcome.

Our favorites are: Ching's World, Green Tea, Dumaguete, Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro City, Papoy, Moira Trinity Cagayan de Oro, Dumaguete, Cebu are all in the Philippines in the world of Ching.

Home

Eating Well, Eating Right

Eating is a basic, fundamental mental propensity which drives animals and plants alike. Man is not an exception to this, in fact man takes this basic instinct and makes whole philosophies about it. While it is true that animals feel a preference for one type of food over the other and and extreme example is the Chinese Panda which exclusively eats bamboo which also goes for the Australian Koala which prefers the eucalyptus leaves to the exclusion of other types of leaves.

What drives carnivores to feed on flesh? Do plants prefer a particular type of soil to others? Do certain organisms living in extreme conditions thrive on that which is poisonous to other organisms? Recent discoveries have shown that in volcanic vents, organisms feed on sulphur which is the death of most living things.

This world is full of surprises and things which are as yet undiscovered or little understood. This is also Ching's World. I would like to step aside a little bit from this theme and talk about something completely different. I feel tired. I feel I should be sleeping right now but I had a hamburger and I feel I shouldn't be sleeping yet. I had pinned my hopes on making the website I so lovingly called Ching's World. I was not even sure that I would go on and launch it on the World Wide Web. What I mean is this was the first time that I would totally deploy a website on my own web server.

I had done some simple static websites which I had hosted on other servers but this one is different. I had to have a proxy server to keep the main servers from being exposed directly to the web. This meant that I had to have Linux as the Operating System and have Apache do the proxying. This is all very nice and neat theoretically but in actual practice it is whole can of worms. There are many issues involved and I have not even dealt with half of them. There is the question of load balancing multiple servers should the Website turn out to be a winner.

My Dumaguete site is doing very nicely unlike my Cagayan de Oro City site which is nowhere to be found on Cyberspace's horizon. I should do something on Cebu.

Taoist Sex

Males and females differ not only in their external genitalia but also in their rates of arousal. Chinese Taoists have characterized the observable world as being dualistic in nature. One side of the Duality coin is Yang which is hard, active, bright, hot, male; the other side is Yin soft, passive, dark, cool, female. This Duality is easily observed in ordinary life like day and night, hot and cold, hard and soft, light and dark, up and down.

In the matter of sex, males are often sexually aggressive, are easily aroused, quick to peak and very often quickly ejaculate their semen. This is a stark contrast to the female which requires a lot of romancing and stimulatioin both in terms of atmosphere: candlelight and mood music, nibbles and light touches, careful stroking before she is ready to simmer and boil over into sexual orgasm. The ideal of mutually satisfying sex is therefore a little more difficult to attain and requires a lot of practice and experimentation. It is also very often the cause of great unhappiness in couples.

While the Victorian Era has brought Britain to pre-eminence in world affairs, it has also spread a prudish notion of sexuality which the world has suffered from for a long time. Sexuality came to be a subject which could not be discussed openly except by couching euphemistically terms which would be better expressed directly. Sigmund Freud correctly guessed the destructive effect that repressed sexuality had on a person's psyche. The Kinsey Report has done a great deal to open up the subject to public discussion and scrutiny.

The exuberant experiment in the sixties known as Free Love might be seen as the collective psyche bursting the chains of Sexual Repression and embracing that which is natural and good. The ancient Taoists have written extensively on sex and sexuality. Mao tse tung's destructive adventurism in the sixties which he termed The Cultural Revolution has forced this once-secret knowledge to flee China and find residence in the Western World. Much of the practices to improve sexual energy involves concentration and meditation.

----0000----

Meditation promotes peace of mind.

Eating well and health

It is said that human beings are naturally vegetarians. This can be argued from the fact that the length of the intestines of a man is longer when compared to that of a dog which is naturally carnivorous. The logic behind this assertion is based on how fast meat spoils, hence it must be quickly digested and eliminated. The shorter intestines of a dog and similar meat-eating animals are designed to extract the nutrients of the meat very efficiently in a short amount of time. The intestines of a human being on the other hand is much longer which means that food stays longer in the gut. Food that easily spoils, like meat for instance can cause various disorders because of the factor of spoiling. Vegetables and fruits on the other hand, do not easily spoil like meat and can stay in the gut for much longer time giving the intestines ample time to extract the nutrients more effifiently.

It is a well-known fact that colon cancer is one of the big problems plaguing the digestive system. This problem is exacerbated by the deficiency of fiber in the diet. Meat is very low on fiber while fruits and vegetables have fiber in large quantities.Fiber allows for much more efficient waste disposal as it sweeps the colon and cleans it more efficiently. Fruits and vegetables are also rich in enzymes which is needed by the body for digestion as well as to kill harmful bacteria. Fruits like mango and banana are rich in enzymes so with green vegetables.

Modern diet typically consists of lots of red meat and lard. Fat, while very important for health is easily stored when taken in large quantities. Excessive intake of fatty foods especially when fried is one of the basic causes of many diseases that threaten the health of many people not the least of which is a tendency to obesity. The increasing popularity of junk food is also a contributing factor to improper nutrition.

Cool blogs basking in the blog park. Visit these pages:

Thoughts on the ideal world

The Blog Bum

The Blog Park

Karma and science

Underdogs World

Sweet slumber

Sleep is wonderful. Sleep heals. When one feels intense pain as when one is being tortured, sleep often comes to the rescue and all feeliings and sensations cease. When a man dies and all his senses start to leave his body, sleep stays in the body and is the last to leave. That is what the wise man said and I think he may be right. When one is tortured by doubt and pain, one seeks the embrace of oblivion, taking refuge in alcohol or sleeping pills with certain disastrous results. Escaping one form of suffering only drives one to another which could be far worse than the first.

Sleep is one of Nature's many wonderful inventions and often taken for granted. I used to be bothered by a deadly sleeping disorder which is characterized by immobility and is known to lead to death by pancreatitis. I would be dreaming and conscsious of it as a dream and I would be unable to move. This type of disorder is quite common in the Philippines and is called urom in Visayan; many deaths have been attributed to this. One would be seemingly frozen and in a state of total immobility while fully conscious and even seing people as they come in the room. Being prone to this disorder, I was taught to wiggle my toes and fingers when it starts to happen and keep doing it until I regained control of my hands and legs. This itype of disorder often strikes the rice-eating people of Asia especially when one goes to sleep immediately after eating.. A solution has been offered which is to drink plenty of water before sleeping; then one might possibly escape from this malady.

Visit these pages:

Blog Crazy

Reaching out

Squeak Smalltalk Adventure

Nothing but flowers

Underdogs World

Fear

Fear keeps us safe. It prevents us from pulling foolhardy stunts that could put us in mortal danger. Fear when taken to the extreme can become phobias which tend to be inexplicable in rational terms. If one is oriented toward Eastern Philosophy then the answer would point to karma and reincarnation.

Fear is also big business as exemplified by movies and books and a top-rated TV show Fear Factor banners it as its title. Fear of Technology can cause a man to peck away at a typewriter instead of a computer depriving himself of the joys of email and blogging.Even if fear scares the wits out of us we nevertheles have a kind of cathartic benefit from finding out the threat was unfounded. That is, if it is not real like in the movies or books or comics. But when we're alone and in the dark that is a different matter altogether.

Fear of the unknown or the supernatural can be a terrible thing and as I was growing up I heard the stories of demons and witches and all sorts of unworldly and fearful creatures. It was so bad and I decided to put an end to this unreasonable fear by putting it to the test. One of the greatest bogeymen for Christians and Catholics is the Devil and he is a powerful reason to ally oneself with God or he's gonna get you. So I issued a challenge to the Devil to wrestle with me on Good Friday when Jesus would be on leave from protecting pious Christians. I shouted for him to show his face in a dark secluded spot where he was reputed to favor. He never showed.

Vist this site.

Sex

Sex, like sleepiing and eating is an instinct which gives intense personal pleasure and satisfaction (often, hmmmm, sometimes but, that is another discussion) and most frequently followed by sleep or resting, which can be bothersome to a girl who is still wide awake and wanting for more. Girls, or should I say women or more accurately, the female of the species, tend to take longer to start, require steady stimulaton to simmer and, prolonged and constant pounding to come to a successful conclusion. A daunting task for the male if he fancies himself as a competitor in the Sexual Olympics.

Sleeping after sex or, should I say resting after sex is often followed by hunger being felt. Well, I think it is logical to consider that the act of having sex causes energy to be spent requiring the need to rest and eat to recharge and replenish lost resources and possibly to prepare to lose some more iin another round of grunting and panting, of moaning and possibly squealing or screaming in a symphony of having sex, or making love, or fornicating if one is uptight about it, . In the male, the act of ejaculation is closely coupled to orgasm leadinig most to believe that the two are one and the same.

It used to be that sex was a taboo subject and something that boys need to be experienced in or to say he has had some if he was to be respected by his peers but mostly if he wants to have his self-respect and, something that girls were not supposed to be curious about if she did not want to be called a slut. Nowadays, sex has been taken away from the back alley to the front door where Oprah Winfrey talks about sex right in your living room. Books and magazines on sex climb over each other for the best display spaces in bookstores and magazine stands. Larry Flynt must feel vindicated.

Eating

We eat and extract the nutrients from what we eat and excrete the rest. Every living thing does some form of eating. For plants and trees the food they need is carbon dioxide, the stuff that we exhale. Our excrement is also good food for plants and trees being rich in the nutrients that plants relish on. Oxygen is released by plants after they absorb carbon and this gas is something that we need to survive. Plants themselves are a good source of nutrients for animals and people. Nature has perfectly created a system which should be able to sustain itself for a long time. Nothing is ever wasted, everything is recycled if Nature were left to her own devices.

Man has invented Agriculture to ensure that food would never be scarce. He has used his intellect to construct barns and silos and storage facilities to preserve his crop and keep them from spoiling. He has become capable of producing more than he needs and so he does. What does he do with the surplus? He trades it for things that he doesn't have. So other people plant other stuff or maybe raise animals and become experts in their respective fields. Man has liberated himself from being a hunter and a gatherer. He has learned to become a specialized productive unit interacting with other productive units.

Pretty soon money was invented to facilitate the trading of goods. From the basic need to eat has evolved a complex system of commerce and trade making sure that there is always plenty to eat and this has resulted in another big bang of sorts, an explosion in population growth.

Sleeping

There is day and there is night. There is black and there is white. There is empty and there is full. When I was younger I hated it when the day had to end. At one or two in the morning only the dogs are awake; they are so fidgety and nervous, the slightest sound rouses them from their sleep. Long after my friends have gone home I am still awake and often I look up at the sky and watch the many stars that dot it and wonder what my life is all about. I did nothing but wake up in the morning, go to school and hang out with friends until the day turned to night and night turned to past midnight.

There seems to be an endless number of things to talk about when one is young never mind that they tend to keep repeating over and over and over. It's like a day that ends and starts and ends again. Like a procession of ants, one passing the other and on and on and on; the procession of ants keeps going on endlessly, tirelessly, mindlessly. I never wanted to sleep, too much activity going on in the mind; nothing great, nothing earth-shaking, just ordinary, simple stuff important only to myself.

The four basic instincts continued..

The basic instinct that is directly related to the survival of the species is sex. One might say that the individual does not really think of the species when engaging in sex rather, he/she is directly, actively and frantically trying to relieve the immense tension in the loins.

When sublimated, this instinct is transformed into a higher emotion called Love and on its altar are offered innumerable follies. It is due to the very high status afforded this metamorphosed instinct that the law has a special distinction for crimes committed in its name collectively known as, "Crimes of Passion".

Kingdoms are destroyed and people's lives are lost because of it as in the case of Paris, a Trojan prince and Helen, the wife of Agamemnon a Greek King. The story of Aeneas and Dido illustrate how difficult it can be to be "in love" when duty is involved. And who can fail to mention the tragedy of the young lovers Romeo and Juliet in the face of a family feud?

Sexual energy when sublimated can result in great art and music. Further sublimated it can lead to divine ecstacy as in the case of St. Theresa of Avila. The same sexual energy when channelized towards the higher planes can lead to samadhi or the ecstatic union of the Shiva and Shakti (the Male and Female principle). The ancient Taoists strove to attain the unification of Kan and Li or the Congress of Heaven and Earth.

When improperly channelled or perversely handled it can lead to insanity. Although it can be a badge of some sort to be "Crazy in Love". He he he.

The four fundamental or basic instincts

All animals, man included have the accumulated knowledge of thousands of years of evolution distilled into four basic instincts: FEAR, SEX, EATING, SLEEPING. Three of them relate to the individual survival and one pertains to the continuation of the species. The ancients describe the seat of these instincts as the Muladhara Chakra which is situated in the tailbone.

Fear ensures the safety and continued well-being of the individual creature by keeping it away from danger or potential danger. Without the instinct called fear, lambs would walk up inquisitively to a predator like a wolf and be lunch. Which would probably decimate the sheep population except for one thing that could probably mitigate if not prevent it and that is maybe wolves would get all fat and lazy and arteriosclerotic and they would have health problems to hamper their lamb-eating proclivity.

Eating obviously keeps the engines running and is a strong motivator for doing something. Hunting, grazing and in the case of man, raising animals to be eaten dominate the main activities of animals, man included. It is a clear indication of man's advanced evolution that he has a craving for ice cream or chocolates even though lower animals do have their own type of sweet desserts like honey for instance. Owing to man's more complicated brain and nerve structure he is able to preserve food in interesting ways: smoking, drying, salting, putting preservatives which may be harmful to him, inventing the refrigirator, etc.

While eating and fear directly relate to activity and play. sleeping is the safety valve that keeps the creature's engine from overheating. In sleep the tissues are given a chance to repair themselves. Energy too is conserved and what the animal cannot accomplish in his waking hours he achieves in dreams.
